Bio
Joelene Franco
Born in Hartford, Connecticut, Joelene Franco moved to Nashville, TN after graduating from Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts to pursue her music career. Joelene has been performing since the tender of age of 10. She started out performing in Musical Theatre, acting in plays including THE WIZ, FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, THE PAJAMA GAME, and ALL THAT JAZZ.
With her great looks, Joelene has also been represented by Amax Talent and The Avenue Modeling Agency.
A student of voice at Berklee, Joelene has also sung in numerous corporate bands including CHARISMA, SKYLINE DRIVE, TESTIFY, and BLACK WIDOW. Other live performances include singing the National Anthem at Greer Stadium and Foxboro Stadium, and singing with the Berklees Singer Showcase and Gospel Choir.
Ms Franco studied with Renee Grant Williams Vocal Work Shops and has consistently taken personal voice lessons with vocal coach Jessica Ford.
After moving to Nashville, Joelene soon developed her own unique style and sound. She worked as a lead singer in various bands around middle Tennessee and soon found her passion for R&B and Pop music.
In her spare time, Joelene enjoys personal training and teaching Zumba. Motivating others and helping transform lives through health and fitness is another great passion she lives.
Recently Joelene completed a demo produced by Mario Moore. The three songs were written by Joelene and Mario and reflect a fresh new R&B/Pop sound that is very hip. Joelenes vocals are excellent as well as the songs and production.
Joelene says, The journey has been a life changing experience, one that I would like to think has ultimately changed me for better. I have met some incredibly talented people and have made some life long friends. This journey has enriched who I am and who I want to be. I have a peace that was never there before. What is most tragic is not rejection, but the fear of never getting the chance to be heard. How do you do that? You embrace the journey.
