Bagels and Cream Cheese

Written By: Joel Frankel

Bagels and Cream Cheese

I know a girl who likes butter on her bread
I say too bad when she could have had instead
A Bagel and Cream Cheese
A bagel and Cream Cheese

I know a boy who likes jelly on his roll
I say why bother if it doesn’t have a hole in it like a
Bagel and Cream Cheese
Bagels and Cream Cheese

Just say no to crackers’ just say no to biscuits
Just say no to English Muffins, you don’t want to risk it for a
Bagel and Cream, Bagels and Cream Cheese
Bagel and Cream, Bagels and Cream Cheese

Once I took a chance and I ordered me a croissant
I was disappointed ‘you know why? because it wasn’t
A Bagel and Cream cheese
Bagels and Cream Cheese

Please cream cheese, please cream cheese, please cream cheese, please cream cheese, please

In the middle east they bake a flat bread called the pita
People stuff all kinds of things in it, but I would rather eat a
Bagel with Cream cheese, Bagels and Cream Cheese
Bagel and Cream cheese, Bagels and Cream Cheese

Wacky Weather Watcher

Wacky Weather Watcher

He’s a wacky weather watcher, watching weather to know whether
I should wear my summer sweater or my winter shorts

In the snow , I like to go, when winter turns the heat down low
But when the wind it starts to blow, I run back to the house

Come the spring the clouds they bring, the rain that makes the flowers zing
Not to mention birds that sing, as worms hang from their mouths

I’m a wacky weather watcher, watching weather to know whether
I should wear my summer sweater or my winter shorts

Summer time, and friends of mine, with nothing on their bare behinds
Go swimming as the hot sun shines, next time I’ll go too

Chorus

Whether the weather is cold, or whether the weather is hot
I’ll wear a sweater, whatever the weather, a sweater is all that I’ve got!

Leaves are falling, autums calling, colors changing , squirls are crawling Time to wear a jacket darling, In a pumpkin patch

I’m a wacky weather watcher, watching weather to know whether
I should wear my summer sweater or my winter shorts
He’s a wacky weather watcher, watching weather to know whether
I should wear my summer sweater or my winter shorts

Rabbit's Hopping Habit

Rabbit’s Hopping Habit

Every rabbit has a hopping habit you see

If you see a rabbit and you try to nab it, but you can’t grab it, so you say “dag nabbit” coz every rabbit has a hopping habit you see

The bunny rabbit hops hops hops, from the bottom to the middle to the tops tops tops. Then he comes back down with a kerplops plops plops
Yes every rabbit has a hopping habit you see

Bunny rabbits nibble nibble nibble, on the carrot and the juice it dribbles, dribbles
Down it’s fur, while it’s tail it swivels swivels
Yes every rabbit has a hopping habit you see

Yes every rabbit has a hopping habit you see

So if you see a rabbit and you try to nab it, but you can’t grab it, you’re gonna say “dag nabbit”, coz every rabbit has a hopping habit you see

Ship of Chocolate Chips

Written By: Joel Frankel

Ship of Chocolate Chips

I know I’m not built so good, other ships are made from wood
& I know underneath the waves, playful fish may misbehave
taking bites out of my bottom, may their fishy teeth grow rotten
but if we ever we’re shipwrecked, you could always eat the deck

Hey Jack, be my sailor, Hey Jack, be my sailor Hey Jack, be my sailor
and sail me . . . I’m a ship of chocolate chips

I know I’m unordinary, but no more than that weird tooth ferry
Sails up to a child’s bed, swaps their teeth for coins instead
Who would want to be the the boss ,of a ship you brush and floss
So take the helm, Jack, be the skipper, Captain of a chocolate clipper

Hey Jack, be my sailor, Hey Jack, be my sailor Hey Jack, be my sailor
and sail me . . . I’m a ship of chocolate chips

I know when the sun gets hot, chocolate chips may melt a lot
So I suggest a big umbrella, made from wafers and vanilla
Hoisted it high above the mast, then them chocolate chips will last

Hey Jack, be my sailor, Hey Jack, be my sailor Hey Jack, be my sailor
and sail me . . . I’m a ship of chocolate chips

One thing I didn’t think of sooner, why you should sail this candy schooner
Other sailors will be jealous, when you show me to them fella’s
As they walk me stern to bow, All they’ll have to say is “WOW”!
So come on Jack, let’s hoist the sail, But watch out for them sweet tooth whales

Hey Jack, be my sailor, Hey Jack, be my sailor Hey Jack, be my sailor
and sail me . . .sail me sail me sail me sail me

The Big Backyard

Written By: Joel Frankel

(AKA The Squirrels’ Happy Day)

None of us squirrels ever liked that dog, he howled at the moon
He ate like a hog, he chased us up every tree he could
Why? Don’t know! Just would. . . .chorus

Things are great since the dog exploded
Our cheeks are loaded with the best acorns
Things are great since the dog went boom! boom!
There’s much more room room, in the big backyard

Oh the cat in the brown house tried to scratch, when he came racing through the vegetable patch, he knocked the beans right off the stalk Why? Don’t know. Let’s talk. . . . chorus

Listen up friend we’re talking to you, this dog was the worst thing we ever knew
He dug up the trash, knocked down the chairs
Why? Don’t know! Who cares. . . .chorus

I guess we’ll never know the mystery, of how that hound became history
He went Poof! right through the roof
Why? Don’t know! He goofed.. . .chorus

Shoe Blues

Written By: Joel Frankel

Well I’ve got these shoes that walk all by themselves
Well it’s either that or they get taken by the elves
Because when I put them down, at the end of the day
When I’wake up in the morning, I can’t find them no way
Well I’ve got these shoes that must walk all by themselves

The shoes I use, I think they might have ghosts
Because they disappear just when I need them most
You can’t find one, then you’re missing the pair
I believe they’ve vanished into thin air
The shoes I use, I think they might have ghosts

If you lose your shoes that’s the time to sing the blues
When you’ve searched high and low & you’ve run all out of clues
Like when my friend Dave, can’t locate his boots
He plays his blues guitar till it hollars and hoots
If you lose your shoes that’s the time to sing the blues

Well I’ve got these shoes that walk all by themselves
And if isn’t that then they get taken by the elves
Because when I put them down, at the end of the day
When I’wake up in the morning, I can’t find them no way
Well I’ve got these shoes and they walk all by themselves
