Bio
Joel Kaiser started off by writing songs around the age of 7. Rooted in Sunday morning gospel and contemporary chirtistian music, Kaiser tried to break away a bit by forming a rock band with friends and musical mentors alike. The local screamo/alt rock scene helped give him the stage and band experience that would continue his journey towards his yet to be realized dream of pursuing music as a career. His first band Wayside Remedy and later, The Cardboard Cutouts were both catalysts which took Kaiser from musical infancy to where he is today. After his bands parted ways, Kaiser picked up the acoustic guitar and began writing easy going tunes as a means of soul searching.
Honesty drives the lyrics, while a desperate personal need for acoustic innovation (due to a self-taught history on guitar) delivers an interesting mix of alt rock, soulful blues, jazz and indie folk music that appeals to a wide variety of musical tastes and audiences.
