Lyrics

Unpunishable

Written By: Joel Myles

Invest buried treasure in my chest, peal back leopard skin, steal that weathered grin from taxi cabs and highest nest. Silent street stalls midnight, stuntlike falls.
My mind, unpunishable crimes.
Contemplate sedated states to find old times.
My breath feels right at home on your neck. I sleep on your cellar floor, locks keep forever doors closed. I'm scenery, a scene that you chose but can you afford the rent damage management.
My mind, unpunishable crimes.
Contemplate sedated states to find old times.
We cannot commit, we cannot commit.
I've got thick skin, I can handle being drawn in then left out. There's a lot of that going round. So customize closeness we're smile wise like jokers for old sound. There's a lot of that going round.
Invest, peal back leopard skin, steal that weathered grin, find familiar scent, pleasure measurement.
My mind, unpunishable crimes.
Contemplate sedated states to find old times.

Leave it in the winter

Written By: Joel Myles

Leave it in the winter, leave it right alone. I see your plans for another man to be taking off your clothes.
I'll leave it in the winter, the coldest one I've known, slip into a sleep a secret coma keeps, I'm better on my own.
I've seen the puppet strings,
I know they're mannequin's but how can I truly say "I won't be fooled again." I wont be fooled again.
I'll leave it in the winter, leave you where you lie. Shakespeare in a park, I'm smiling in the dark because the dreamer never dies.
So leave it in the winter and kick it like a cold. Swimmer in the paint, sinner into saint, the priceless has been sold.
I've seen the puppet strings,
Actors in different skins but how can I truly say "I won't be fooled again." I wont be fooled again.
I've seen the puppet strings,
trick dice that always wins but how can I truly say "I won't be fooled again." I wont be fooled again.
I'll rise straight up like a harrier jet, leave you with the rest of the marionettes, I'm the days, I'm the days that you'll never forget. You can't hide from karma when it's time to collect.
You cant hide, you cant hide from karma.
I've seen the puppet strings, I know they're mannequins,
Actors in different skins,
trick dice that always wins but how can I truly say "I won't be fooled again." I wont be fooled again.
Leave it in the winter, leave it right alone.

Sidewalk Stray

Written By: Joel Myles

As I decide to guide the satellites and pick up the sharps of a shattered knife,

the face that unfolds me when I’m tired you told me, you would be the one, you would be the one.

The passing dark offers civic art, catch reflections in trains tracking two hearts.

Call on the super sleuth to look for the purest truth or dare to be the one.

I feel my heart change.

I’m on a mission for vision to be rearranged.

Take me I’m yours no longer ignored like a sidewalk stray, like a sidewalk stray.

Stuck in my sleep the girl I know I need, show me the ropes I’ll tie you to me.

I’m standing on the edge of earth if I jump it wouldn’t hurt ’cause baby you’re the one.

Baby you’re the one.

I feel my heart change. I’m on a mission for vision to be rearranged.

Take me I’m yours no longer ignored like a sidewalk stray.

I feel my heart change. I’m on a mission for vision babe.

Take me I’m yours… Oh!

Closer in chaos, see what we’re made of, Closer in chaos, see what we’re made of

Baby you got the goods, you’re all the light I need when we’re lost in the woods it’s no emergency,

I can finally breathe.

No need to get back, ’cause we make maps, we make maps, we make maps.

I feel my heart change. I’m on a mission for vision to be rearranged.

Take me I’m yours no longer ignored like a sidewalk stray.

I feel my heart change. I’m on a mission for vision to be rearranged.

Take me I’m yours no longer ignored like a sidewalk stray, like a sidewalk stray.

Smoke and mirrors

Written By: Joel Myles

I’m not assembled for simple. I embrace the fall, I want it all for you.

Hold on to solo, feel like I’m followed. Light up your palms, turn on the charm, break through.

The city feels like a playground in a cage.

The city feels like slipping on a smile over a sad face.

Under smoke and mirrors I’m giving my conscience the day

and if money wouldn’t matter, then the matter wouldn’t waste away.

I hear crescendo in new thought. Mind of states lay awake confused.

Hold on to solo, dare you to follow. Moment in time,

colour outside the lines,

break through.

The city feels like a playground in a cage.

The city feels like slipping on a smile over a sad face.

Under smoke and mirrors I’m giving my conscience the day and if money wouldn’t matter,

then the matter wouldn’t waste away.

If I could print my money, I’d use the ink from the words you’d say.

Streetlights

Written By: Joel Myles

All of the streetlights will be stars and I know a change will come.

Place just the four of us inside these four walls Alt. reality explorers.

Space, all that outside calls.

Kaleidoscope the keys

brings you to your knees. Woah, get a hit friend, Woah, of oxygen

Woah, get a hit friend, it locks me in.

All of the streetlights will be stars and all of the shooting ones were cars,

and I know a change will come.

Doors, chose a chance to lose all that’s said and done.

Collapse like setting suns.

Cause, effect I am a shipwreck, a traveller of time.

The search for silver lines.

All of the streetlights will be stars and all of the shooting ones were cars,

and I know a change will come up to my place.

My friends won’t bring me down, down the land that wears a crown.

My friends won’t bring me down, down the lane that wears a crown.

But tomorrow can’t wait.

Don’t try to re-create.

All of the streetlights will be stars and all of the shooting ones were cars,

All of the streetlights will be stars and all of the shooting ones were cars,

and I know a change will come up to my place your trust in my hands.

Future Hearts

Written By: Joel Myles

All you nosey Time travellers, getting their kicks.
Proud protectors search remedy and scream at the strict way that we live.
Only hope comes from desperate eyes, steal me from my sleep.
Start at trend, make world's mend.
It's the secret I keep in the way that I live.

They're getting their kicks watching how we all live.

Flash light look for a warning as I wake on the mothership and you're beamed up to me to fix the future,
Hearts are beating.

Spray can strife push the barrier. Pry open my mind.
Tag the high rise, high life and scream at the strict way that we live.
They're getting their kicks watching how we all live.

Flash light look for a warning as I wake on the mothership and you're beamed up to me to fix the future,
Hearts are beating.

Hearts are beating, hearts are beating

Talk ourselves down, the pace has changed.
Wait on a world to clear my name, to clear my name.

Flash light look for a warning as I wake on the mothership and you're beamed up to me to fix the future,
Hearts are beating.

Hearts are beating... fix the future hearts.
