Since I began writing, singing and performing 1993 I have enjoyed some wonderful moments as an artist traveling across the US many times and Europe twice. The opportunity to take the story of a life like the wonderful Southern Texas Star, Linda Broadway "She's A Star" and turn it into a song and see others respond is amazing. In addition, the chance to take a personal moment like tryin' to get a little "action" when all my wife wants is a little help with the dishes in "Love Starts in the Kitchen"-is a blast. Next to being a husband and father, I'm not sure I've found a greater satisfaction in life than doing what God put me on earth to do! Some of my favorite moments include traveling through Europe with a band for two weeks, playing at the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville and having people come up and tell me how one of my songs on the radio like, "Seek Me" or "Press On" touched their lives. Every time I drive out of Nashville after a recording session I think of all the influences before me who have dreamed the same dream and had the opportunity touch others' lives with their voices and songs. Everyone ranging from Dolly Parton and Ray Stephens to Brooks and Dunn and Keith Urban. I told my wife recently after seeing an older artist on television, "I want to be doing that when I'm his age!"
