Joe Rathbone

A direct and resolute musician with a poet's sensibility, Joe Rathbone is one of those rare, unpretentious kind. This singer-songwriter won't be staring in the mirror. He'l be looking at you.

On the release of Rathbone's second CD "Welcome To Your New Life," his talents -- poetic songwriting with catchy hooks, passionate roughewn vocals, and a guitar style that is alternately melodic and moody -- are gaining notoriety. This CD was co-produced by Rathbone and Michael Conrader (Destiny's Child, Aaliyah, Alicia Keyes). At the outset of releasing this new CD, Atlanta's newest resident has recently been invited to showcase at Atlantis Music Conference (Atlanta, GA), KanawhaPalooza (Charleston, WV), New York City Winter Music Festival (New York, NY), and Cutting Edge of the Campfire at Club Passim (Boston, MA). His first CD "sweet relief" was played on over 150 nc-AAA stations across the U.S. and in Canada and gained the attention of nationally syndicated shows World Cafe, Acoustic Cafe, E-Town, and West Coast Weekend.
