Bio

As a young kid I grew up forced to listen to Country Music as my Mother would listen to nothing else.
As a teen, I listened to Rock, Led Zepplin, Black Sabbath, AC/DC, well the usual rock for that age :)
After joining the USMC in 1977, I was overseas and walking through the squadbay and heard someone singing a Hank Williams Sr. tune. After finding the source, a platoon buddy began to tell everything about Hank. It was then my childhood forced listening became the milestone for me and changed my music genre. I began to listen and study Hank Williams, Don Williams and John Conlee.
John Conlee was my largest influence wich catapluted me into singing to the public.
I then decided that although I may or may not have a gift, I did not know technically what I was doing. I sought Vocal instruction and after 4 years, found I could call upon the technical aspects at will instead of what my voice would do on it's own.
At age 26 I recorded my first CD in Bakersfield.
Made numerous contacts, Dave Kronnomyer (think that is how he spells?) John Mason and other Music lawyers in which all have turned me down or away.
I've have struggled through the years to get my Music to the public, either as a writer or singer.
Writer, singer? Makes no difference too me as long as I can reach out to people.
