Joe See and the Band of Marry Man are a hip-hop /jazz influenced collective band. U.K’s equivalent of the U.S group The Roots.
The band was formed in 2011 by lead Vocalist/ Rapper Joe See.
The band has just finished work on their new album entitled Restore 2 Factory Settings, which was out on the 1st of January 2012. Since the release the band has been playing gigs round capital mostly in the south parts of London (Brixton) where they are based. The band is currently promoting the album video single called Falling a valentines theme production due for digital release on the 14 of February 2012.
The bands musical influences range from jazz artists such as Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Fats Waller, Mamie Smith to Hip Hop performers such as Tribe called Quest, Dela Soul Moss Def and Guru and to Classical composers such as Beethoven, Debussy and millions more.
The 6 piece band consisting of Lead vocalist /Rapper Joseph Chaganiza (a.k.a Joe See), Aron Bull (guitar), Alex R Kundig, (bass guitar) David Samuel Glem (keyboard) Juanma Nieto (Drums) and Karina Fleming (backing vocals)
