JoeSmpte

JoeSmpte aka Joseph Gallop was born in Boston, Massachusetts in the 70’s. He has a Bachelors of Art from Bowling Green State University in Bowling, Ohio. JoeSmpte also has a Certificate of Completion from Hendriks Institute in Visual Communications. He is some what your renaissance man. At a young age music was always his first love. He started playing the trombone in pre-school. This transcended to him being a mc and also a producer. JoeSmpte didn’t just stop there. He is also a video producer who recently shot videos for Edo G, Smoke Bulga, Billy Blade, and other artist. JoeSmpte has strong ties in Ohio and also is collaborating with California artist such as AK, PBK, Renegades, and DPG affiliates. He is also working with artist and producers from France such as Lexo, Bandit, Miss Dynamite, Kicket, and the entire Ski Mask Production team. JoeSmpte’s versatility is what separates him from many mcs in the game. His upcoming album titled The Time Is Now will be released this spring. Smote Media Group is a Boston based multi-media company focusing on music videos, commercials, short films, and advertising, and music distribution.

JoeSmpte has two albums coming out. The Time Is Now and The Connection are the album’s names. The Time Is Now has a variety of producers from Boston, Cleveland, Toledo, and France. The album itself is well put together and the style that JoeSmpte displays is far different from what you hear today. He is very skillful, such as a back pack rapper, but has the swagger of a thug rapper. JoeSmpte influences are from the school of keeping it real. He does not exaggerate about fictional gangster stories or does he falls in the category of the pimp rapper. Check out the new album coming soon.

The Connection is an entirely different album which is more of a compilation between JoeSmpte and artist from France. Lexical is the main producer on the album. This album will mostly get marketed over in France. If people from the United States want to show love, then buy this album also. There is a perfect blend between American artist and artist from France. The movement is happening now.
