Bio
Joey Haynes is an 18-year-old artist hailing from Queens, New York. His father had been a producer in the early 2000s, working with many artists ranging from 50 Cent of G-Unit to LL Cool J. He gained an ear for music by watching his father create beat after beat using a keyboard, old records, turntables, and an MPC. Shortly after his father relocated to Atlanta in 2006, he would often travel back and forth between New York and Atlanta to learn about production and recording in the studio from his father. Eventually, his father would stop making beats and he would work with his uncle in Raleigh, North Carolina who was also a producer as well as a guitarist and pianist. After Joey graduated high school, he recorded his first original song, "Roll One". He sent the track to his then classmate Kareem Buckley, who is his current manager. Eventually, they became business partners, collaborating to create the record label 550 Entertainment, with Joey himself as the primary artist. Currently, Joey is working on developing his brand and plans to release his debut mixtape "550 Fantasies" late 2016.
