Bio

I have been in to hip-hop since my first License to Ill album that I played on my record player in 3rd grade. I have written rhymes my entire life. In 2007, I started actually recording my writings in Denver, CO. I then moved down to Austin and in the last 3 years I took my hobby to a higher level, performing at multiple venues with the likes of Eyedea & Abilities(a dream come true), Josh Martinez, Sleep, Kristoff Krane, Ecid, Span Phly, Arsenic, 2Mex, and Ceschi in places all over the Southwest.
I took off writing and performing the last year to finish my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology at the University of Texas at Dallas and will be attending UT Austin for graduate school starting the fall of '10. I hope to one day teach at the college level.
While waiting to hear back from all the Graduate Programs that I applied to, I wrote and recorded my Debut EP entitled, "That Sweet Chin Music:The Showstopper EP-Tribute to the Sexy Boy", produced entirely by Michael Anaya, front man for the Rock Group, Subrosa Union, a group in which my little brother is the bassist of. This EP also has bonus tracks produced by and featuring friends and fellow hip hop artists, Prawphit, Ecid, and Splynter. I am a lifelong wrestling fan...Yeah i know, its my guilty pleasure. I gave this EP this title to pay respect to one of my wrestling and real life heroes, Shawn Michaels, (Michael Hickenbottom), a fellow Texan and huge inspiration in my life.
Upon Completion of the EP, I stumbled upon a crazy, bloody English film maker named Matt Stewart. With the same drive, passion, and crazy thoughts, it was a match made in bloody heaven. Within weeks we had scripted and shot my first music video, Rust. It was one of the funnest experiences of my life. I am VERY happy with the product.
That brings me to the present. My EP will be released in Mid-July. My music is medicine for my soul, if anybody else can make a connection, awesome. My hand is extended to all, just reach out and grab it.
