Bio
My name is Joey Panzarella (Joey P.) and I am originally from Northeast Ohio, currently living in North Carolina. I play acoustic music close to Folk-Rock.
I am committed to success in the music business. I am currently writing and recording at my home in North Carolina. I play acoustic 6 string, 12 string, and bass guitars. I also play harmonica, all percussion, and piano (not all at the same time.) In my life, my music has been influenced mostly by Bob Dylan, The Beatles, and Tom Petty. To me, lyrics are the most important part of a song.
I am always searching for opportunities in the music world, and I would like to have more time to write and record. My song “Curly Sue” was named a Top Five finalist in the “Song of the Year” contest for the month of May 2007. Given the time to record more of my songs, and continue to write new songs, I believe I could reach all my goals and dreams.
