Joey Salinas offers “All of Me”

Los Angeles, CA – Joey Salinas and his dynamic dance music have been streaming across the country, spreading the beats across the U.S. through appearances at venues in cities such as Miami, New York, Philadelphia, Chicago, San Francisco, Las Vegas and Los Angeles. His album “In the Beginning …” has boasted a string of successful singles, helping the continual expansion of Joey’ fan base. Previous singles include “The Beat of the Drum” and “Nympho/Maniac.”

“All of Me” is a divergence into more rock-based territory but Joey’s love of grooves is evident in the song’s flow. The vocal work is a smooth partner with the bassy guitar grooves and brooding melody of the song; the poignant lyrics match the tune’s heady atmosphere.

Of course, Joey is well known among fans for his dance music accomplishments. His music is marked by diversity; he shifts readily from club to house to drum-and-bass and so on. His eclecticism is brought together by a unity of artistic personality. Be it dance or rock or anything in between, Joey’s music is distinctly his own.

Joey has a strong background in music and dance, having spent years honing his singing and songwriting skills and putting energy into dance competitions. He has also taught. Joey nabbed a position in a major Washington D.C.-area dance group; that chance opened up opportunities to work as a music mixer and choreographer. He went on to play halftime shows at the Verizon Center and FedEx Field for the likes of the Washington Mystics and the Washington Redskins.

Naturally, he turned to recording eventually and the result was his fan-winning debut “In the Beginning …” Joey has announced that 2008 will bear new fruit with the forthcoming release of a follow-up album dubbed “… And Then There Was Alexander.”
That CD is slated for a fall release.

Joey has received an acknowledgement award from Billboard and has performed the Highland in Hollywood plus one of D.C.’s biggest festival events, “Capitol Pride.” He is currently working with A&R Select, the world’s leading independent artist development firm, based out of Los Angeles, CA.
