Money Over EviL- Sept 10

Joey Lee Turner Jr., better known by his stage name Jo Flowroshus, is an American rapper who has been writing hip-hop songs since the 3rd grade. He is affiliated with Twista and his Get Money Gang Entertainment label. He is also known for his up close and personal style that is filled with energy. His ability to create songs that make you nod your head and get loose in the club is matched with his ability to create music that makes you think. Jo grew up in a fatherless home in Rockford, IL and throughout his childhood he often had to hustle to make ends meet. That same street mentality is what inspires his music today.

Music career

On October 20th of 2006, Jo Flowroshus held one of his first majors shows at the Alliant Energy Center that was headlined by the mainstream act Twista. Jo continued to keep in contact with Twista and would later become a part of Twista's emerging hip-hop label Get Money Gang Entertainment that runs through EMI/Capitol Records.

January 11, 2008 marked another significant show held by Jo. The show was called the "Jo Flowroshus Birthday Bash" and was headlined by multi-platinum recording artist Lil Wayne. The show was considered to be one of the best in the Midwest area during a time of Lil Wayne's emergence into super stardom.

Jo Flowroshus released his debut album Celebrate Hope on Halloween of 2008. The album included the song "Make It Last" featuring Slip-n-Slide Records recording artist Qwote. It also included the track "Im In Da Hood" as an iTunes bonus track.

On Saturday Sept 11th, 2010 Jo FloWroshus released his sophomore album entitled "Money Over EviL" which featured Twista, Nipsey Hussle, ShowTime, Skooda Chose, Yung Thuggin, Topix, Liffy Stokes, Zay Billa, J Stills and many more + production from Dj Pain1 (GOLD producer via Young Jezzys album "The Recession" for the song "Don't Do it") , Dj Tight Mike ( PLATINUM Producer via multiple Twista albums including the platinum single "Whip Game Propper" which featured Lil Wayne.) , and production from many more!!
