John Lasher

John Lasher is a singer, songwriter, and actor from Newark, Delaware. His influences run the gamut from Peter Frampton to Frank Sinatra, from the 3 Bs of classical to Stephen Bishop, Billy Joel, and Barry Manilow. At 17 his composition "Theme in A Minor" won an ACSI award. His single "I Wanna Be a Bad Guy" is a favorite with audiences everywhere it is performed, and its flip-side "The Monkey Song" has been something of a hit on local radio. A talented actor as well as a singer, Lasher has appeared on stage with Aubrey Plaza of TV's Parks and Recreation, and in productions of Oliver!, Annie Get Your Gun, William Nicholson's Shadowlands, and Milburn Stone Theatre's critically acclaimed 2013 production of 1776, Lasher is currently hard at work on a new album, for release June 2014.
