John Teague

Exposed to music all of John's life he's been influenced from about every kind of genre there is. Both Parent's were successful and accomplished musicians (Karon McGaha & John D. Teague). Featured in SxSW and The Charlie Pruett Show, as well as performed with artists such as Mark Chestnutt, Clay Walker, and Robert Frith. Surrounded by music John planted his foot in the electronic dance scene as "Badmethod" for a period of time. He also spent several years in the SeTX Metal Scene as a drummer and vocalist. In 2008 John enlisted in the US Army and spent 1 year in Iraq and 3 more years in service. During that time, he began to write more to his roots in country, the music that he spent his childhood listening to. Present day, he is the heavy back beat to Texas Country band The Bayou Blackbirds and a travelling troubadour of Americana and Folk Country music. Follow John on Soundcloud to keep up with all of his latest recorded work.
