Bio
Dallas native, John AQUA, is an aspiring musical artist set on encouraging self-acceptance/improvement through raw vulnerability and honesty in his music. Having been exposed to genres such as classic rock, jazz, Soul, rap and pop at an early age, AQUA’s music takes shape as a refreshing conglomeration of such. John AQUA began music lessons at the age of 5 and recorded his 1st album of songs at 10 years old. John is a staff member on the Youth Music Ministry at Concord Church. John placed in both the 2019 National YoungArts Foundation (Voice/Singer-Songwriter Category) and The Society, Inc. 2020 National Arts Competition (Performing Arts Category). He has performed at over 35 venues, including the House of Blues, Clarence Muse Cafe at TBAAL, Six Flags, the Dallas Museum of Art, and the Hall of State. His mantra is AQUA (always question; understand all). John AQUA creates quality, award-winning music that represents fun energy and is relatable to all ages. He is currently creating and distributing solo and collaborative music under the moniker @JohnAqua1056, and plans to tour and connect with audiences worldwide.
