The most recent permutation of this group was formed this year in New York City's own Greenwich Village, where all the members of the group attend college. The members made an immediate connection with one another, as three of the four of them are natives of Colorado. (It is also interesting to note that the drummer and the vocalist of this band met eachother when it was revealed that they nearly shared the same name.) All of them share a definitive interest in progressive improvisatory music, but also have a very simple approach when it comes to playing rock music. As most of the band is from the West, but now live in New York, they have created an interesting hybrid of sounds: Alt-Country Rock with a louder, more expressionistic (Eastern) attitude.
