Bio

A Park City Musical Collaboration Intended To Make You Smile And Move Your Body. Olde Tyme To Folk To Rock To Blues To All Blended Together And Seamlessly Played For Your Listening, Dancing And Partying Pleasure. Many influences along the way
Band Bios:
Jack Walzer: Guitar and vocals. Jack’s early influences are rooted in southern rock and bluegrass. Most recently, Old time and progressive acoustic jam has contributed to the “groovegrass” sound of JBM.

Karri Hays: Fiddle, claw hammer banjo, vocals. Karri decided to pick up the fiddle in the mid 90’s. Starting with a Celtic influence, she quickly absorbed bluegrass and old time styles. The claw hammer banjo seemed a perfect fit for the direction the band was going. Her clean, energy filled vocals brand the patented muley sound.

Mark Viar: Upright bass. “Tennessee” has been rock n rollin for a long time. His adaptation to the dog house bass keeps the groove where it needs to be. Plus he’s got a cool laugh.

Ken Sager: Mandolin, tenor banjo, dobro etc… Ken is a multi-instrumentalist whose well placed weavy licks glue the whole thing together. His accomplishments include winning the 2004 Utah state flatpick guitar AND mandolin championships. Ken is a music instructor, pizza connoisseur, and one ripping player.

Rod Riley: Dobro, guitar. Currently in the witness protection program and newest member, Rod somehow found his way into JBM. Rod has a heavy Nashville background, playing, recording and fraternizing with numerous well known musicians such as Tanya Tucker, Vern Gosdin and Joe Nichols. He’s a pro and downright nasty good.
