John Brown and his band are perennial favorites in the South Bay area of Los Angeles. John performs as a solo performer, with duo and trio combination's as a need for more musical sound becomes applicable. For events of 200 or more the complete John Brown Band consists of a core of 4 or 5 musicians
The John Brown Band is one of two bands voted "Best in The South Bay 2009" by the Easy Reader annual "Best Of" publication. They perform annually for the City of Redondo Beach 4th of July fireworks, The Redondo Lobster Festival, and the Manhattan Beach Holiday Fireworks in December to crowds of 8-10,000 people.
