Biography

John Drama, born in 1981 on Detroit eastside, writing his own lyrics at the age of 11. After many years of shaping his style and perfecting his craft, he was ready to put his skills on display. At the age of 19, John Drama gave his first live performance at Detroit C-Note Lounge.
In 2003, he joined Fhoe Fifth Entertainment and released his solo debut album, John Drama, which featured the single Its Drama. Excited about the success of his debut album, Drama wasted no time returning to the studio and in 2004 released his sophomore effort, Oxymoron. Its lead single, titled Hold It Down, created even more buzz in the streets for John Drama as a serious contender in a market full of has-beens and pretenders. After taking two years off, he released two more solo projects titled Whatcha Know About John Drama(2006) and Outside The Norm(2008) which featured the smash single 1 Nite Thang.
In December of 2010, Bone Thugs n Harmony members Layzie, Flesh and Sloan gave the green light to John Drama/Lithium Squad to run and organize the Detroit Mo Thug Movement. In 2011, John Drama toured with Bone Thugs N Harmony on The Resurrection Tour and shortly after he released his first mixtape under Layzie Bone titled "Zero Tolerance" with featured hits such as; "Amazing", "Life I Love", and "Realist Shit".
Currently (2012), John Drama is filming his reality show documenting the days of recording his last album that is scheduled to be released in December 2012.
