Fitz’s beginnings as a musical artist goes back to his childhood when his father first placed a battery operated toy guitar in his then four year old son’s hands. Since that time, he has never known life without music. His love affair with his guitar quickly expanded to include many other instruments, giving him a unique broad spectrum of capabilities as an artist. This coupled with his crystal clear and commanding voice can be nothing other than a powerful blessing from God, and intended for His purpose only.

Like many of us, Fitz chased after the glitter of the world and tried to live life his way. He bought into the deceptions of the world and many mistakes were made along the way. The path of his life resembled something like a bomb-riddled battlefield of destruction. There is no doubt that Fitz always loved the Lord, and God was always present in his life, but the noise of the world was often louder than God’s voice. Throughout this period of his life, God continued to develop Fitz into a highly sought after musician and vocalist. Over the last twenty nine years he has played with many gospel, as well as contemporary heavy weights. His musical spectrum includes gospel, contemporary Christian, rock, blues, jazz, country and top forty. His versatility and love affair with his instruments continue to deliver a sound that is unique and powerfully anointed. From session musician, to television spots, production work for other artists, and even scoring feature films, the range and scope of Fitz’s gift continues to expand, as God expands his musical horizon. All the while, God knew where He was taking this. He was creating and honing a truly multi-talented and kingdom-purposed musical artist. Over the last several years as Fitz was expanding as a musical artist, God's calling on his life continued to grow louder while he experienced cleansing and growth in his spiritual life. It would be the culmination of this period that would prepare him for what God was about to do.

After all those years of career misfires and shattered dreams of success in the music world, this chapter of Fitz’s life would come to a close. One day while on the farm of his manager in South Carolina, something unexpected occurred . The critical paths of God’s will finally crossed. Some might call it a “Road to Damascus experience.” God had orchestrated bringing into the fold, the “third rail” of leadership, thereby solidifying God’s calling. On that day of great revelation, God breathed a new life of Truth into him, and his ministry was called forth. A new alliance was forged that would turn on the light of a new path. This light of Truth enabled, energized, and focused the talents that had always been within him, but now for His purpose. In God's timing, this new spiritual alliance would ultimately give Fitz the fortification to do what he always knew in his heart he had to do. He needed to step out of the boat, without looking down. By putting God first in his life, and with things now in their proper order, his trust, and life, are now completely in God's hands. Once and for all God is at the helm, and it is all for His glory, not the world. The time is now, it’s God’s time, and look out world!

Fitz has completed his first solo album “TRUTH” which was released in January of 2011. “TRUTH” is a unique compilation of dynamic contemporary Christian music. His debut album serves as a testimony of Fitz's redemption, and a declaration of his freedom in Jesus Christ, with truth and understanding in God’s Word [The Truth]. Standing in the revealing light of God's Truth, his life is a triumphant example of the cleansing and renewing power of our Lord. Fitz’s totally renewed focus of his God-given talents is once and for all on spreading God's Truth. It is this same Truth that has finally lit the path for him to fulfill his God appointed destiny. It is his prayer that this music will speak life and healing into many lives all across the spectrum of ages and background. TRUTH is way more than just an album; it's a way of life.
