Bio

John F. Gloston Born 1964 in Houston, TX. His love for music was apparent at the age of 6 when he started playing on an old piano which was given to his family. John started singing and playing at an early age. In 1973 John began to sing in the Little Folks Choir in Houston, TX at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church under the direction of V. Michael McKay. In 1974 he sang in the Fonwood Elementary School choir. John also played the Bassoon in the Orchestra at Bruce Elementary where he was in the Magnet Music Program. In 1977 John placed 2nd in The Houston Post Scholastic Writing Awards for his original song America Begans With Me which prompted him to gain recognition by the American Music Conference.

In 1979 John was accepted into the Houston High School for The Performing and Visual Arts for Vocal Music, Journalism, and Music Writing, John was a member of Southern Baptist Student Union Gospel Ensemble and Herumbee Choir at University of TX in Austin, TX, in 1984-1985. John served as Church Musician for Greater Peace Christian Church for Pastor Craig High in Austin, TX in 1990-1992, Church Musician for Life Line Christian Church Pastor Rebecca Berry Austin, TX in 1992-1993, in 1991 John was in the studio for the 1st time when he wrote and recorded What shall I Render and in 2001 he remixed and re-recorded What Shall I Render with the help of Kat Hendricks in Canada. John was part of the Music Ministry of Lakewood Church in 1994 where the Pastor was John Olsteen. John is one of the Founders of Greater New Life Christian Church also an Ordained Reverend and Minister of Music under Pastor Billy Johns in Austin, TX. In 1997 John joined the US Navy and in 1999 he served as Minister of Music aboard The John C. Stennis Aircraft Carrier Gospel Choir.

Johns love for music has prompted him to write song after song over the years and is now currently in the studio with a Post Production on his Original Song Project.

Johns love for God has been the force behind his intimate relationship and worship with God.

John is a current member of The Final Harvest Ministries under the Pastoral Leadership of Jonathan Richardson where John is currently serving as the church Musician.
