Bio
Thanks for stopping by the site to check out my music. This is the bio section. Please be warned...
...I'm not very good at this...
Writing a bio for yourself is quite an awkward exercise. I guess I'm supposed to talk about my music...I'll try.
I've been doing this for five years now: writing songs, performing songs, recording songs. I love getting to express myself in such an...expressive (I'm sorry)...way. I love getting to travel and talk to people and hear about their lives. Seeing truth and love and beauty. Making music. I love all of these things.
I also like spending hours in bookstores and furniture stores and home improvement stores. I dont do any home-improving, but I could spend hours in those stores...and office supply stores, too...I got off topic...back to music.
By the way...
I like to read. Books, magazines, newspapers, billboards and road signs. Anything I can get my hands on. I love the works of C.S. Lewis, St. Augustine, Jim Schultz, and numerous poets. But I write music...
Music. I write songs to communicate the truth and love that I have experienced in my life. I strive to be honest and real about it. Truth and love are most beautiful in their simplest forms. Simplicity is so hard to come by these days, so I try to look for the simplest elements of truth and love in the world around me. Little glimpses of glory in this broken world.
I hope this helps you get to know me better. If not, I hope you like my songs.
Take time to love people. Listen to good music. Even if it's not mine.
There, it's over. That wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Thanks for reading.
