John Kirlin and the High Plains Drifters is a three piece bluegrass band composed of John Kirlin on the mandolin and lead vocals, Gabe Dunbar on the guitar, and Chris Campbell on the bass. The three have been playing music together since 2005, but it wasn't until the summer of 2009 that they decided to go "acoustic" and form the Drifters. This trio creates a unique blend of bluegrass, folk, and rock music, singing working class songs that reflect a lifestyle of their home state Wyoming.
