John Leggiero

Johns songs are crystaline landscapes of sound that mirror the dream realm of human conciousness. The music, a way to express the microcosms inside all of us, reflects his personal world as well. John uses abstract lyrics and poetic symbolism that delve deep into his perception of the universe around him. His songs are in essence, a cosmic blend of truth, life force and imagination. Although, John is fluent in many instruments his soul is in the shape of a guitar. He received his first guitar as a Christmas present when he was 12. John's dream is to bring his "brain children" into what some would call reality by recording his own music while being as diverse as he can along the way. He carries around a mindful musical attitude along with a sharp edge of chaos. A singer-songwriter, guitarist John writes all his own music and lyrics and also plays keyboards, bass and drums.

John has been inspired by artists such as Mike Patton (Faith no More and Mr Bungle) as well as The Doors and the Misfits. Hesitating to jump into a singular category, John refuses to classify himself as this would only prohibit the artist within from merging with the rythyms of creativity. Each song seems to belong in its own genre, all very unique, all full of soul and energy. Considering each work a piece of his art John chooses the expression of sound through music to be his voice doing things that have not yet been done. To hear his voice resinating and guitar wailing at his core and then each instrument, effect, beat and harmony added with such precision it is hard not to hear that John's intent is to create music that rouses the soul wakens the mind and moves the body.
