"You've Got What it takes to write a hit song" - Billboard World Song Contest
Having performed at the Brooks & Dunn, Kenny Chesney, Rascal Flatts and Toby Keith shows, I’ve had nothing but wonderful experiences working with John Luskey. I received great reviews from our patrons and he was able to get his audience involved with his performance and wanting to hear more. Not only was he great on-stage, he was nothing but respectful and welcoming to all of his fans following his performances. - Kelly Flanigan, Booking Coordinator
I love “Trouble” and “When She Cries”! - Clearchannel
John’s great, his 100-watt smile is what first pulls you in. Behind that smile is a deep, sexy voice; a talented, soulful musician and writer; and an all-around good guy. No wonder he has such a loyal fanbase--a grin and a nod from John, and they know they’ve met an amazing person. They’re hooked to him and his music for life.” - Calvert Recorder
I definitely love his sound. He has a combination of high energy songs, such as “King of the World” with upbeat songs, like “Trouble” and songs that speak the truth on life, especially “The House”. King of the World is a great single and should be a hit. Luskey has the ability to put the DC Metro area on the map as another home for talented country artists. - Herndon, VA
John Luskey is an amazing entertainer - The Washington Post

Bio for John Luskey
John Luskey, a Southern Maryland native, grew up listening to his family’s extensive record collection. By the age of 13, he had learned enough guitar to join his first band and write his first song. His first show was only in front of a handful of people. By the time he was 18, he had made a name for himself in Southern Maryland and the surrounding areas.
After playing music for over 20 years, John finally found two guys that shared his passion for performing live music; Jack Bannister (Bass) and Dwayne Taylor (Drums). Their straight-ahead, good-time music has become a staple in the DC, MD, and VA music scene and the trio has performed with Kenny Chesney, Brooks-n-Dunn, Rascal Flatts, and Toby Keith, just to name a few. And John and his band were the first unsigned band to ever play WMZQ Fest.
He has received awards from the John Lennon Songwriting Contest for "Honky Tonk Rhythm" and from Billboard Magazine for "When She Cries" and "King Of The World".
