Lyrics

Long Distance Blues

Written By: John Malino

I've got those long distance blues
Sprinting ain't my style
I've got those long distance blues
Sprinting ain't my style
And I'll run a long, long way
But I will come back and run another mile

I don't want no woman
Ain't got time to do things nice
I don't want no woman
Ain't got time to do things nice
Cause I will eat your whole sweet pie sugar
Come right back and have another slice

It's a gone dog, gone dog, doggone truth babe and I know you understand

It's a dog gone truth mama
and I know you understand
You ain't got no sprinter
you got an old fashioned low down marathon man

I've got those long distance blues
Sprinting ain't my style
I've got those long distance blues
Sprinting ain't my style
And I'll run a long, long way
But I will come back, come back and run another mile
