Bio

John Morgan currently calls Curacao in the Dutch Antilles home. Originally from Halifax, N.S he is a Country Artist and proud of it. In the past year, he has been playing shows throughout the Maritimes, showcasing his brand of country music and a great live show to east coast music fans. In that time, he has already shared the stage with folks like, Aaron Pritchett, George Canyon, Dave Gunning and Dean Brody to name a few.
The title track and first single from his first album, The Little Things has received play on country radio across Canada since its release. His follow up single, When I Think Country is due out in February 2012. Co-produced in Halifax NS with the multi talented James Logan at The Cabin Recording Studio, the album takes a look at all the little things that make our lives worth living.
On listening to the record, it soon becomes obvious this is not your typical straight ahead country record. John combines strong vocals with sensitive and visual lyrics. With a mix of hard pumping tunes and heartfelt ballads there is something for every music fan that takes the time to listen. John's writing is honest, sincere and straight forward story telling. In short order, you can tell that he has lived these stories.
Swig is a song about coming to terms with losing a loved one and Old Elvis Songs takes you back to a time in his life that was a happy one. In his youth his family would gather and listen to Elvis Presley records "Elvis was on in my house pretty much all the time. I'm not complaining I love his music to this day." There's even a song dedicated to the hard working farmer called The Farmer’s Way. John wrote it about his father- in- law, a potato and beef cattle farmer from Prince Edward Island.
"I'm really proud of the album! I hope people give it a listen and maybe it will stir up some great memories for them.",says John when asked how he feels about his first country release.

John showcased at ECMA 2011 in Charlottetown PE and is currently keeping busy with dates throughout the Maritimes
