Johnnie Hodges

Johnnie is Jah Music Group's featured artist in The Transition Project, Volume I. Through his lyrical style and music his testimony is told. He was born in Brooklyn, New York where he was raised in Fort Greene projects. Early on he faced many challenges: survival in the inner city, his surroundings, society's portrait of him, and social economical status. His testimony is one many people, especially men can relate to. In spite of the challenges of the flesh he made a choice to receive Jesus into his life. He now lives serving Him.
His desire is through these Godly inspired songs to see unbelievers, backsliders and those who have never heard of Jesus, to receive Him into their lives because time is surely running out. His style of music captures the attention of the young and the mature in age. His desires are for the Word of God through these songs to enter into the listener's ear gate and effect change in their lives.
Johnnie currently attends Eastside Faith Center in Wichita Falls, Texas under the leadership of Pastor Carl Brewer.
May every seed of God's word sown through this CD take root and grow in the listener's life.
