Love Me anyway

Written By: johnnie mae and mojo

Woke up this morning with you on my mind
A hot cup of coffee and your t-shirt you left here last night
I know sometimes I lose my way
I stay up all night and I sleep all day, but hey
I lose faith when I'm lonely
Wishing the rain would come some other day
Then i see your face
And its all okay
Cause I know you love me anyway
Yeah, troubles keep on coming
Ain't no stopping what you can't control, oh no
Holding on to everything so tight
Til you just have to let go
I know sometimes I lose my way
But you always know what I'm thinkin
Before I can even say
I lose faith when I'm lonely
Wishing the rain would come some other day
Then i see your face
And its all okay
Cause I know you love me anyway
No, I'm not gonna fall with you by my side
Nothin matters at all cause in your arms everythings alrite
But I lose faith when I'm lonely
Wishing the rain would come some other day
Then i see your face
And its all okay
Cause I know...
I lose faith when I'm lonely
Wishing the rain would come some other day
Then i see your face
And its all okay
Cause I know you love me anyway, yeah
Yeah, baby, yeah baby, you love me anyway
Ya, i know you love me anyway

Pearl Snap Shirt (with the cutoff sleeves)

Written By: Johnnie Mae

Pearl snap shirt (with the cutoff sleeves)

V.1
I was sitting at home all alone
Feelin a little hungry
Cookin for one
Just ain’t no fun no more
Still heartbroke from the last cowboy
That burned me,
So I slipped on my boots
And headed out the door
V.2
Well I walked in the café
Was pretty empty
Just a handful of people
I didn’t know
Didn’t feel much like conversatin anyway
Til his eyes caught mine
And my jaw dropped to the floor

{CHORUS}
Cause He was tall dark and handsome
Eating a chicken sandwich
With the bluest eyes this redhead’s ever seen
I swore I’d never fall again
But a cowgirls heart don’t have a chance against
a pearl snap shirt- with the cutoff sleeves
V.3
Well the waitress came over
tossed my plate down on the table
Scared me so bad I spilled my tea
As I was cleaning up my mess
Wishin I could disappear
He looked my way and he smiled at me
{CHORUS}
My face was just about as red
As the mud on his boots and
I knew my chance for love had passed me by
When suddenly in front of me
Stood my husband- to- be
And I heard him ask-are you busy tonite?
Now lookin back on the day
We just cant help but laugh at the
Good sense of humor cupid has
And oh what a story to tell
To our grandkids of how I fell
For the pearl snap shirt with cutoff sleeves
{CHORUS}
Now everyday I fall again
Cause a cowgirls heart don’t have a chance against
A pearl snap shirt- with the cutoff sleeves

Broken Mirror on The Wall

Written By: Johnnie Mae

Ain't no easy answers to questions ya got in your head
Always waiting for nothin as those four walls keep closin in
Yeah, nowhere to go and so tired of runnin away
Could go to sleep but you gave up on your dreams yesterday, hey
{CHORUS}
Broken mirror on the wall
Baby your not gonna fall
Still the prettiest of us all
Broken mirror, keep it together
Broken mirror, this ain't forever
v.2
Mornin sun breaks through the window
Now maybe you finally let go
Cause another day is another chance
Take a breath and start all over again, and again, and again
{CHORUS} X2
