Biography

Not to get too patriotic, but if there's one young, upcoming rock band Belgium can be proud of these days, it's Johnny Berlin. Two years ago, they released 'I am Johnny Berlin', a great seven-track EP, on which they managed to combine the rock sound of Interpol and The Smiths with the eighties synth-pop antics of, say, Duran Duran and Kajagoogoo. I know: on paper it seems bloody awful, but it works like a charm. In May 2008 they released 'Find What You Love And Let It Kill You', their first full-length album. be sure to check out their cover version of Sufjan Stevens' 'John Wayne Gacy Jr.'
