Lyrics

Alright

Written By: John Hyland

Our love is burning brighter than the sun
This feeling I have can never be undone
When I look into her eyes I know we won't ever part

Our love is like a shining star above
I love her so much she keeps me satisfied
When I'm with her, I know she'll always be mine

My baby makes me feel alright 2X

ur love began so long ago
I took her by the hand and we left for the show
and I said

Please understand my love for you
Oh please Don't ever run away
My love is here to stay

My baby makes me feel alright 2X

Guitar Solo

Without her love my days were blue
Now she's here my foolish mood has melted from view

She will always be dear to me
As long as she's near to me
I love her madly

My baby makes me feel alright 2X

Molly

Written By: John Hyland

My reflection starts to fade
As I look in the mirror
Tears pour from the faucet in my sink
And the walls begin to frown

Molly, Molly, why?

Lord give me hope, give me strength to go on
Cos’ I know
That this girl
Is takin’ my life away

I feel no despair
I’m floating in a dream
But soon my trip will end
My hands trembling, I’ll be drenched with sweat
When my friends are gone, what will be left?
What will be left of me when she’s gone?

Molly, Molly, why?

Lord give me hope, give me strength to go on
Cos’ I know
That this girl
Is takin’ my life away

A great fog shrouds the water
I’m trudging along the riverbanks
As lost souls float downstream
I cry out trying to regain faith

I have the strength
I will not go astray
It’s time to send my addiction away
Goodbye, goodbye
Molly, Molly
Bye

Lord give me hope, give me strength to go on
Cos’ I know that it won’t be easy
Ohhh, Ohhhhhh

Summer Day

Written By: John Hyland

Let’s walk through the park and try to talk

I want you to realize how I feel

When we’re together I’m happy as a kid at play

Free as a bird flyin’ over the bay

And love is like a summer day

Love is like a summer day

Sometimes love can seem unplanned

Like a spell of sunlight in a cloudy may

Now I see you understand

That love has come our way

And Love is like a summer day

I would sit here all day long for you

To find out if love was true

Brown leaves and snowflakes covered the ground

And Love, love remained unfound

Now love is like a summer day

Love is like a summer day

There's no justifyin

Why I've been so lonesome

I spent all winter cryin

Now love is like a summer day

Summer Day

Without Me

Written By: John Hyland

I never lied to you
Like how you lied to me
I tried to make things work
I’d always forgive you
You thought I’d always be around
In spite of all your games
But now I gotta say good bye
I can't stand the pain
You better get used to spendin’ life without me

I thought I knew who you were
But I didn’t know a damn thing about you
I thought you loved me for sure
But you didn’t care a damn bit about me
So you better get used to spendin’ life without me

A second chance again, a second chance again
I can’t let things go on like this
I can’t let things go on
Your fragrance enchants me
A clever aphrodisiac
But now I gotta leave you
There’s no turning back
You better get used to spendin’ life without me

I thought I knew who you were
But I didn’t know a damn thing about you
I thought you loved me for sure
But you didn’t care a damn bit about me
So you better get used to spendin’ life without me

Well I hope you got your things
A taxi's on the way
Just tell him where you're goin
I'll gladly pay
You better get used to spendin’ life without me

(Guitar solo)

(Chorus)

Waiting for the Sunrise

Written By: John Hyland

I’ve seen better days
I can’t take the pain
I hope my luck will change
Waiting for the sun
Waiting for the sunrise

Save me from this place
Keep me going strong
Wash away my sin
Help me to begin a new life

I’ve been in the dark
Running from myself
Hiding from the truth
Take me back to you
Oh Lord

Save me from this place
Keep me going strong
Wash away my sin
Help me to begin a new life

(Solos)

Save me from this place
Keep me going strong
Wash away my sin
Help me to begin a new life (2x)

Help me to begin a new life

Tomorrow in a Daydream

Written By: John Hyland

Maybe tomorrow we’ll hold hands
Tomorrow will bring us love
Sadness unfolds in my unsure heart
Did I prove that I need you enough?
I’ll listen to you and hold you close
Tomorrow we’ll travel the universe
Tomorrow in a daydream

Who knew that love could be so tough?
Am I afraid or just lost?
Lost for words to say how I feel
If I can’t have you then I wish you well
Would we be huggin’ and kissin’?
Would you think of me?
Or would I be missin’?
Tomorrow in a daydream

(Guitar solo)

Forever in a daydream (3x)

My Heart is Yours

Written By: John Hyland

I’ve gotta yearnin’ and burnin’ for you that I just can’t shake (2x)
My emotion’s been locked up inside, but now my heart is yours to take

You’ve got me trapped within your mixed up mind
No tellin’ if or when you’ll come around (2x)

So come on darlin’, just give it to me straight
My heart is yours to take

Will you hold me?
Hold me
Will you hold me?
Hold me
Will you kiss me?
Kiss me
Will you kiss me?
Kiss me
Squeeze me, don’t ever leave me
Oooh baby

(Guitar solo)

I just hope I never see the day
When you say it’s time we take a break (2x)
I gave my heart to you
So don’t ever give it back
My heart is yours to take

Will you hold me? Hold me
Will you hold me? Hold me
Will you kiss me? Kiss me
Will you kiss me? Kiss me
Squeeze me, don’t ever leave me
Oooh baby

Chronic Blues

Written By: John Hyland

Sitting alone
Wonder what I should do
Since she's been gone
Feel like I got the Chronic Blues

If you'd known
What a fine girl I had
You'd understand
Why I am feelin' so sad

I can't sleep
Every dream relates to her
I picture a time
When I still held her in my arms

Day after day
I try to find someone new
But since she's been gone
Feel like I got the Chronic Blues
