Our genre is Rock N Roll and most of the time we sound like a mixture of The Beatles & Guns N Roses.

Biography

John O’Shea – originally from Greenford, London – started playing the guitar at 9. After learning rhythm and lead guitar for 7 years John started writing albums at the age of 16.

John left Sixth Form College at 18 and went on to study Music Technology and Business at Gateway Studios, Kingston University. After completing his course he then did a temporary stint at the recording and rehearsal studios Bonafide Studios.

At 20, John finally decided to be a singer songwriter. After a few failed attempts at starting a band he settled on being an acoustic artist and spent the next seven years gigging in the music bars and clubs in Central London.

In 2010 John started work on the debut album Ad Nauseam. After a year of preparation John met Anna Thomas in March of 2011 and together they got the songs ready to be recorded.

After recording the album together in 7 days at Gizzard Studios John met Bassist Chris Pinkton and Guitarist Rosie Botteril in the autumn of that year and now the band are currently performing in the UK.

The Alchemist

Written By: John O'Shea

What's the matter boy cat got your tongue?
It seems you've ran out of things to say.
Would you please mind the cobwebs.
Only put them up yesterday.

Can you turn base metals into gold?
We'll just have to wait and see.
Have you read the Rosetta Stone?
& discovered the secrets of alchemy.

You cant make head nor tail of it.
Not no way not no how.
You think you are so clever.
Well lets see you walk on water now.

Can you turn base metals into gold?
We'll just have to wait and see.
Have you read the Rosetta Stone?
& discovered the secrets of alchemy.

You've let the cat out of the bag now.
What the hell are you going to do?
Kubla Khan and The Mariner have finally
Uncovered the truth about you.

Push her head in the oven.
& watch her burn to the ground.
& if you don't let me in.
I'll huff & puff and blow your house down.

You've let the cat out of the bag now.
What the hell are you going to do?
Kubla Khan and The Mariner have finally
Uncovered the truth about you.

Can you turn base metals into gold?
We'll just have to wait and see.
Have you read the Rosetta Stone?
& discovered the secrets of alchemy.

Rock Is Alive

Written By: John O'Shea

How bad do you want it?
Got to take the smooth with the rough.
It's there if you want it.
Just got to want it bad enough.

I can feel it flow through my veins.
Like my blood's on fire.
I wont settle for anything less.
My heights can't be set any higher.

I can feel it burn up my soul.
Like no other can survive.
I can tell it's in the air.
That rock n roll is alive.

How bad do you want it?
Got to take the smooth with the rough.
It's there if you want it.
Just got to want it bad enough.

Things will never be the same again.
Got to hit them like a run away train.
& In end they'll be no doubt.
They'll just chew you up and spit you out.

I can feel it flow through my veins.
Like my blood's on fire.
I wont settle for anything less.
My heights can't be set any higher.

I can feel it burn up my soul.
Like no other can survive.
I can tell it's in the air.
That rock n roll is alive.

The End Of The World

Written By: John O'Shea

Where were you the day the world stood still?
When the streets were engulfed in flames.
Whoever played their part to make this real.
Now stands here at the end of all things.

Don't you know it's the end of the world?
Don't you know it's the end of the world?

Tramp is holding John 3:16.
"The End is Here" he did warn.
Soon become the object of mockery.
But he was right all along.

Don't you know it's the end of the world?
Don't you know it's the end of the world?

Skies are burning, Bombs are dropping.
People are calling, No-one's coming.
People realise & open your eyes.
There's no-one to save you.

Preacher's screaming from the roof tops.
"The End is Now Near at Hand".
He was standing on the precipice.
Waiting for the end of everything.

Skies are burning, Bombs are dropping.
People are calling, No-one's coming.
People realise & open your eyes.
There's no-one to save you.

Don't you know it's the end of the world?
Don't you know it's the end of the world?
Don't you know it's the end of the world?
Don't you know it's the end of the world?

Know Your Enemy

Written By: John O'Shea

The ones who you love & the ones who’ll betray you
They are all one in the same
The ones who you trust are the ones who will fail you
With no-one but yourself to blame

The ones who you hate & the ones who praise you
Are akin in so many ways
The ones who you loved & the ones who have failed you
They are alike in all but name

Know, know your enemy, know your enemy
If you wanna survive
Know, know your enemy, know your enemy
If you wanna survive

The ones who you healed & the ones who will hurt you
They are all one of a kind
The ones you adore are the ones who’ll desert you
& they’ll leave you dead inside

Know, know your enemy, know your enemy
If you wanna survive
Know, know your enemy, know your enemy
If you wanna survive

You, you can crawl away
You can run away
But you can’t run
From who you are inside

The ones who you love & the ones who’ll betray you
They all start where you begin
What you’ve always known & what you’ve always hated
Your true enemy lies deep within

You, you can crawl away
You can run away
But you can’t run
From who you are inside

Know, know your enemy, know your enemy
If you wanna survive
Know, know your enemy, know your enemy
It’s you inside
