Reflections of the Soul

John Paris brings you to a warm familiar place. Like the feeling before a long awaited homecoming, his music flows from his fingers triggering memories from the listeners’ past. At the same time he makes perfect sense of the present.

Paris is a professional musician with over forty years of experience. Paris’s current release, “Journey of Soul” brings his musicianship into the forefront. John will add to his personal catalog by releasing “Reflections” and “Joy of Soul” this year.

His background is enormously diverse. Paris is comfortable performing coast to coast. He has entertained at the world famous Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas to Harrah's Resort and Casino in Atlantic City. He has performed in major venues throughout Las Vegas, Reno, Lake Tahoe, Atlantic City, New York City, Los Angeles, and Chicago. Additionally, John has performed on the Merv Griffin show, Bob Braun Show and in Jerry Lewis telethons. He has also performed onstage with celebrities including “The Moody Blues” Bob Newhart and many others.

Fred Lipsius, Grammy award winning arranger for the famous group Blood, Sweat and Tears states, "John has written some beautiful melodies. His music, thoughtful and soothing, comes from a place of love. It draws you back for another listen." John has studied with outstanding teachers in his career including, Byron Peterson (student of Nadia Boulanger), Dennis Sandoli (Famous Jazz instructor who taught John Coltrane and the Brecker Brothers among others), and Frank Leone (Conductor for Red Skelton and Engelbert Humperdinck

Paris’s music is a soundtrack of life. As a listener you feel several emotions. You witness joy and happiness and relaxation and peace. John Paris has an amazing approach to creating a sense of common ground with the listener. His music reaches to the depths of the mind and body and has the power to soothe and comfort the soul.

Only a professional musician has the ability to touch several types of people. As a performer and composer you either have that ability or you do not. John's ability to touch the common listener is what makes John Paris the creative source he is. This is John’s true gift to us all.
