John Rake was born in Royal Oak Michigan on August 5th 1989. Growing up with Eric Clapton as his idol he began playing the guitar at the age of... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz....He draws from his ancestral Irish and Appalachian roots for his music as well as blues and...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.... He currently resides in Asheville North Carolina.
