"Tron Roman"

His mashup of "Warp 1.9" and "Shake it Down" was one of our top tracks back in May and his new remix of the Tron Legacy Theme by Daft Punk is going to blow you away. Without further ado, ten questions and two exclusive tracks from Canadian banger prodigy John Roman. - http://www.gottadancedirty.com/2009/08/tron-roman-gdd-exclusive.html

"Year End Wrap Up"

JOHN ROMAN is a Canadian that is blowing my mind with this tune. The horns scream “I want to be dub” on first listen, but once the track kicks in with the main lead, you WILL lose your mind. I am DJing New Years Eve, and this will be dropped at a peak moment. - http://manalogue.com/2009/12/30/this-is-not-a-best-of-post/

"One of the Most Promising Up and Coming Producers Out There"

Next one in line is John Roman, one of the most promising up and coming producers out there at the moment. His reworks are always over the top, been spinning a lot of his stuff for some time now. Here's his latest remix, his "new opener. Herve meets Duck Sauce.", as he describes the track. Epic break-down after 1 minutes 40 seconds of desperately waiting for some bass. - http://discodemons.blogspot.com/2009/11/are-you-ready.html

"John Roman in the Groove"

If you haven't heard of Canadian wunderkid John Roman by now, I'm not sure you have the right to listen to this track. There's some songs we get sent to us that are so raw and facemelting that I want to keep all for myself, but that wouldn't be very nice of me, would it? Prepare to die at 1:28. - http://www.gottadancedirty.com/2009/10/john-roman-in-groove.html

"John Roman Did Warp it Down"

John Roman seems to be on fire at the moment. His recent remix of the The Bloody Beetroots track Cornelius received quite a fair amount of positive feedback and started his journey into hype land. If you already slept on this guy, go dig into our archives because he just keeps getting better and better. - http://www.datasapiens.net/2009/05/john-roman-did-warp-it-down.html

Genre: Electro/Dance/House/Tribal

In the past year, producer/DJ John Roman has gone from making his first distorted-electro original to having his experimental tribal tracks supported by the likes of Brodinski, Nadastrom and Solo, among others. At only 20 years old, Roman’s growth has been rapid, building upon his background as a hip-hop producer and evolving with his exposure to new dance music genres.
