John is a huge Neil Young fan since hearing the album "Live Rust"with song's like Sugar Mountain,I am a child and After the gold rush, it led him on a journey to find his own sound which would be right at home back in 1969 when Neil young, Bob Dylan and Led Zeppelin ruled the the world.

Biography

Acoustic singer/songwriter John Taylor returns with his third studio album "Sorrow and sunshine "John's collection of new song's follow in the footsteps of his first and second album,mostly recorded live with just a vocal and guitar to capture a sound that's raw and to the point ,Sorrow and Sunshine will be realesed on the 28th of May, launching his latest collection of song's from castle ruins somewhere off the coast of Scotland with more dates to follow.

John has opened for many artists from all over the world thanks to the support of Glasgow's "Fallen angels Club" artist's such as Stacey Earl, Sam Carter,Annie Keating, Madison Voilet, Eddie Reader,Boo Howerdine,James Grant and most recently successful American songwriter Kim Ritchie on her Scottish tour.

John was involved in the organization of a concert called
"A song for autism"in febuary of this year which sold out and has been nominated for a Scottish music award.
