John Thomas Montague (JT Montague) at 21 years old is a singer songwriter out of the spectaculiary beautiful beaches of Destin Forida with a unique sound combining folky blues roots with a southern beach feel, comparable to artists such as Jack Johnson, Corey Smith, and Greg Allman. After writing blues lyrics about coming home from his two trips to Bali Indonesia for months on end and playing with local backyard musicians, has finally put together a compilation of his first writings and early music in the album "Old Highway 98." Inspired from the first song on the album "Old 98" which is about growing up in Destin Florida from a young surfer's point of view growing up and trying to stay out of mischief. John Thomas Montague has a style of music that touches the soul of listeners of all ages.
