"reviews of Jesse (drums)"

"...an evening that overflowed with deeply musical work. That the set included the characteristically adroit playing of bassist Larry Gray and the consistently imaginative accompaniments of the young drummer Jesse Nolan - a real find - only heightened the appeal of the show."
-Howard Reich, Chicago Tribune, August 19, 2005 - Chicago Tribune

"reviews of Michael (lead guitar)"

"...the addition of Michael Krasovech on lead guitar gives the arrangements some needed spark..." - Allmusic.com

Bio

Featuring artists from the Riptones, Joe Pug, Bastard Sons of Johnny Cash and the Detholz!, John Wesley’s Band is a collective of some of Chicago’s finest Americana, rock, alt-country and jazz musicians. Performances cover an engaging variety of songs, from inventive new takes on old spirituals to originals influenced by 50s country and gospel and bluegrass. Anchored by the clear and transfixing voice of Julia Klee and supported by premier instrumentalists, John Wesley’s Band presents a rousing, riveting show of lively country and lyrical originals and creative renditions of early American gospel classics.

Time Out Chicago says of Julia Klee: "She's got pipes that rival Neko Case and Kelly Hogan"
