What's Happening Everybody? I'm Joi Marshall from the R&B girl group, Jade. Remember...Don't Walk Away Boy! I'm originally from Chicago (Chi-Town!...Go Bears!), but now I live in Los Angeles. Well, I decided to write a new album of R&B Christian songs entitled "Testimony & Praise" to share with those who love God and music just as much as I do. BIG UP to The Machine Prods., Track Factory, Daniel Dawson, Eric Williams, Greg Kellogg and Sean Dancy for the music. I hope you enjoy it. Also, based on my previous experiences with Jade (good and bad) and as a former A&R for Quincy Jones' label, Qwest Records... I thought it would be a good idea to write an easy to read book that helps explain some of the ins-and-outs of the music business from an artists point of view. The book is called "Answers to the 20 Most Asked Questions About the Music Business", available at Amazon.com
In addition to writing books, I also write and produce songs in many different genres. Right now I'm working with some very talented producers in Los Angeles...Underdogs (Dreamgirls, etc.)
