Bio

Jolene Pollard is a 27 year old singer, born in Kamloops, BC. With over 10,000 listens online (myspace and SoundCloud), her fan base is well established, and her quest for stardom is long awaited.

She has been performing for over 10 years, from small gigs in Victoria, and Vancouver, BC, to a few performances in Australia, Guatemala, Alaska and Europe! Due in part to being a traveler, and also to her profession as a Tour Guide around BC and AB, Jolene has captivated audiences around the world with her raw and natural talent. As such, she has fans and followers across the globe.

Her career starts early, belting Patsy Cline songs for her family in early childhood! At 17, Jolene won Kamloops' first singing competition, and was titled the 'Aberdeen Idol', prompting a recording session and some local airplay. This was quickly followed by winning a song writing contest by a local radio station, in Red Deer, AB. As luck would have it, pausing this momentum was a bout with a cancerous brain tumour, putting her career on hold temporarily. After recovering 100%, Jolene has effortlessly reestablished herself in the music community, recognized for her beautiful and genuine vocal talent.

She has been playing guitar and writing lovely and heartfelt music for over 12 years, and her professional music career is about to take flight. Armed with a plethora of new music, and a genuine captivating talent, Jolene is venturing into a new chapter of musical professionalism.

Current influences include Leslie Feist, Regina Spektor, Jason Mraz, Cat Power and Emily Haines.
