Jon Cash/The HeThenZ

Jon E. Cash is a Detroit based Hip Hop Artist. Growing up on the East side as the son of a DJ. Cash drew inspiration from the Environment he grew up in as well as, Contemporary, Country, Classic Rock, Motown, Oldies, Old School/New School Hip Hop and R&B, Alternative and EDM FOR BOTH Beats and Lyrics. After moving from Moross and Lanark to 7 mile and Hoover after his parents split up things went on a downward spiral. From then on it seemed like every other Year Cash would move from city to city. Never feeling like he belonged anywhere, Jon was down for whatever because he knew he wouldn't live there long enough to matter. Until he moved to Mt. Clemens where he would meet UGA - The Under Ground Affiliate who first set Cash on the path of Becoming a Rapper. But the streets still had their grasp on him, from selling drugs to gang bangin and a string of B&E's he settled in long enough to become a 4 Time Felon, Often Imitated, Never Duplicated, Jon E Cash started his Rap Career at the age of 17, going by the Alias "Kub", where he was the youngest artist in the Detroit based Rap Group "The Town Club Crew" before being imprisoned for Home Invasion 1st Degree w/ Assault less than Murder. After incarceration, Jon rejoined the group (then known as "Hostyle") under the Alias: "K-Ta-Tha", a more hostile incarnation of Kub. Still a renegade at heart, Cash spent more time runnin the streets than fuckin with beats.  At least for a short time before the groups eventual break up.
A few short years, and 3 more felonies later, he would end up joining a new group of young aspiring artists and join them to become the group "Rated D" where Cash re-emerged as "Alias" a Fire breathing monster of myth and legend. Founding the Underground Label, Grim Mic Entertainment, where he took on the personal task of discovering some of the undergrounds hottest up and coming artists such as D-Frost, Half-Lyfe (.5), Dimez, Tone-Mac and Kaos (DMG - The Detroit Money Gettas) and More to come together and form an unstoppable force of MC's hell bent on taking over the game. Song after song, show after show it all started to happen. But as the past shows nothing lasts forever, Rated D was broken up,ALL of Jon's personal Masters Erased, and being dodged afterwards and GME a distant memory. Frustrated by the situation, Cash was stuck in a severe writers loop of sorts, focusing his rhymes only on one thing.....REVENGE, even though he would be trying to write a song about or for anything but that. After realizing it was time to take a break, Jon decided to focus on his Production and grow as a Producer leaving an angry vicious animal starving in the dark.

With his long-time friend and business partner Dimez aka 4 Nickels once again inspiring Cash to pick up the Pen and come face to face with the Microphone again.
