Jon Hayes

Fresh off of a successful summer of playing his first festival and several other shows in upstate New York, Jon has just released his first blues/funk/pop-inspired single "Temporary", a much-anticipated event for his faithful followers. Being new to the Midwest, he has now turned his focus to building a solid local following in the South West Michigan and surrounding areas. How does he plan to do this? With catchy riffs, solid guitar tones, melodies that one can't forget, and lyrics that deliver a refreshing honesty. Songs are a place to wrestle with all of the pressure of questions left unanswered, joys left unexplained, and pain left un-alleviated and Jon does not pull any punches with his music. Pulling heavily from artists like John Mayer, Tom Misch, and bands like NEEDTOBREATHE and Switchfoot, Jon's music is guitar driven, yet filled with honest and poetic lyrics complimented by a soft, soothing voice.

While music is his passion, he also desires to share his story and many others like his own to give hope to a people that he sees ridden with questions, depression, and anxiety. His goal is to use his own life as an answer to the oh-so-popular question, "If God's so good and so powerful... why do bad things happen to good people?".
