Jon Whitlock

Jon Whitlock was/is a Drummer. Meade Armstrong plays Fiddle and sings beautiful harmonies.  Jessica Watson Plays anything with strings but mostly Banjo and also sings beautiful harmonies.  Jon rode around the country playing guitar in a van and drums on stage for 15 years with bands like Christablel and the Jons, Ian Thomas Band of Drifters and JP Harris and the tough choices. All those bands have long names.   Meade and Jessica heard Jon singing and playing guitar one day.  They began to play and sing along with Jon and they gave this recurring experience a name. The name was Jon Whitlock Trio,  which was a shorter name than previous bands that Jon had  played drums with.  Now the Jon Whitlock Trio plays in public venues and people give them money to do what they love to do.  When songs are finished people smack their hands together and sometimes yell out strange syllables that sound like noises a farmer makes when calling his animals to dinner.
