Bio
Based out of Victoria, B.C. Jon and Roy are a two-peice band who have been a staple on the island scene for over 4 years. Influenced by many artists and events, including Bob Marley, Bob Dylan, Elliott Smith and Sublime, Jon and Roy combine their love of all musical styles with their own aural experiences to create sounds they enjoy reproducing.
Jon and Roy are centred mainly around the songwriting and lyrics of Jon Middleton, whilst Roy Vizer adds the percussive background neccessary to give reason for a listener to move their selves around a dance floor. Their live performances often involve crowd participation in the form of singing along and hand-clapping.
