Jonathan Hart

Currently a private guitar, bass and piano instructor at the Milestones In Music studio in Lansdale, Jonathan Hart comes from a musical family. His mother, a choir director of over 20 years, along with aunts and uncles on both sides of his family are successful, professional music performers, producers, and instructors. Hart started his musical education in a children’s choir at age 6, and briefly sang in his mother's choir as a tenor, alto, and soprano as a teenager. From the age of 8 until 18 years old, he was classically trained on the piano. He started violin at 9 and trombone at 10. In 2003, after completing his tour of duty in the U.S. Army, Hart joined Total Praise Band, a small gospel/jazz band, rooted in improvisation, as a self taught bassist/guitarist. Hart has toured the east coast, as well as the west indies, the bahamas, and south america with several different groups, such as higher calling, sanctuary, In His Presence, and the MBF Choir, as both a musician and an audio tech. Now in back in school, Jon is currently enrolled as a music major, and is on the honors society.
