"Reviews for "Mess I've Made""

“Radio ready…man, this song was good and strong. It's ready for radio without a doubt. The vocals were strong, the arrangement and production of this song is top notch. Not boring whatsoever and the guitar work was perfectly executed. Makes ya wanna raise your fist in the air and shout, "hell yeah!"

“I could hear this tune on satellite radio every day. Nice work, this music is taking over!!!”

“[This] band has all the elements it needs.”

“The flow of music, electric guitar, drums, [and] the richness of the lead singer’s voice that I seem to recognize as one of my own friends are directly speaking to me.”

“Vocals are real good, range with strong delivery…Guitar sounds great, arrangement is very good. One of the better guitar sounds I've heard on here…This rocks in my book, no complaints.”

“You want it, they have got it…very impressive guys. I think this is definitely radio quality.”

Bio

Whether performing solo, as part of an acoustic duo, or in a full band, Jonathan Dean delivers time and time again. Regional touring with his band Fierce Embrace gave him the road experience every singer-songwriter needs. In 2007, Tuf-Gi Productions named Fierce Embrace their "Artist of the Month" and their debut EP, "Human Vanity" received local and XM satellite radio play throughout 2007-2008. Their single, "Your Lies," was the most requested song of 2008 on 94.3's Local X program. In 2009, the band took a break, but Jonathan kept the music projects rolling. That August, he and frequent songwriting partner Deborah Higgs, under the duo name Salem Dean, won the CMT Music City Madness competition in Knoxville, earning the opportunity to play a showcase for Warner Bros. at the world famous Tootsie's in Nashville. He is currently writing and recording new material with co-writer T.M. Williams and they've already garnered interest and attention from publishers, recording artists and other industry reps in Nashville. Jonathan continues to grow as a writer, penning country, rock, and acoustic songs, as well as instrumental tracks for film/TV licensing opportunities. He is able to shift from songwriter to producer, switch from lead vocals to harmonies, and adapt to the needs of any live or recording music project. "I try to write every day," Dean says. "By myself or with co-writers, whether it's two pages or two lines, the important thing is to move forward creatively. At the end of the day, the song is what matters."
