Lyrics

Stone's Throw

Written By: Jonathan Harding

To me you’re like the night
Dangerous yet bubbling with life
I know you’re holding back from me
Many unturned stones at my feet

If only I could see
The depths that you’re seeing
Maybe I could find
The same truth inside
But I know we both lie
To keep this thing alive
Though we may collide
I can’t control these tides

I don’t wanna lose you now
We’re just starting out
Let’s keep a little mystery
Before it all falls out
I don’t wanna lose you now
We’re just learning how
Let’s not pull these pieces till we’re sure it will fall down

There’s so much more I see
Than being a part of somebody
I will always fear these waters so unclear
There’s so much more to me
Than being a part of somebody
I will always fear these choices so unclear

If only I could see
The depths that your seeing
Maybe I could find
The same truth inside
But I know we both lie
To keep this thing alive
Though we may collide
I can’t control these tides

I don’t wanna lose you now
We’re just starting out
Let’s keep a little mystery
Before it all falls out
I don’t wanna lose you now
We’re just learning how
Let’s not pull these pieces till we’re sure it will fall down

Calling Me

Written By: Jonathan Harding

Letters on my mind
These words I hoped to hide
I’ve done the one thing, you can’t undo
Even awake I’m dreaming
Caught in the space between you
I have created this whole new world

What goes around just keep going round
All of these lights are still shining down
Can you feel it, can you feel it

Are you calling me
Are you calling me still

Holding onto trinkets
These things like tiny splinters
Reminders of a youthful us
We don’t sink cause we swim
Caught in the space between you
We have created this whole new world

What goes around just keep going round
All of these lights are still shining down
Can you feel it, can you feel it

Are you calling me
Are you calling me still

Half of Me

Written By: Jonathan Harding

I wanna dream with you
I wanna fall from the stars
Burn out so bright
I light up your heart.

I wanna be with you
Head back to the start
Be young again
Forget all that’s past.

Yet your still day is still my night
I rock side to side.

This is killing me you see
I don’t want half of me
To be loving half of you
Cause it’s only half the truth.
We’re two odd pieces me and you
What we put each other through
Take a picture for me
Hold it close, I’ll be there someday soon.

I wanna be with you
I wanna tear down these walls
There’s too much at stake
I’m down for it all.

I wanna dream with you
I wanna fall from the stars
Light up so bright
I burn up your heart.

Yet your still day is still my night
You rock side to side.

This is killing me you see….
This is killing me you see….
This is killing me you see….

I don’t want half of me
To be loving half of you
Cause it’s only half the truth
We’re two odd pieces me and you
What we put each other through
Take a picture for me
Hold it close, I’ll be there someday soon.

Tree Song

Written By: Jonathan Harding

I, I wish you well
I know that great things will come your way
I hope you'll remember the day
We sat in a tree by the lake
Stars all around , bodies far from the ground
Felt like we'd never come down

But life, this life goes on
Told ya I'd write this song for you and I ,held my word true
Tough the roots of this tree will remain, intertwined
You'll go back to your life and ill go back to mine

I , I wish you well
In all the challenges that come your way
I hope you remember the day
Sat in a tree by the lake
Many things to contemplate
Then nothing to say
I will remember your face

Life , this life goes on
Sink or swim yeah we all get dragged along
Though the roots of this tree will remain ,intertwined
You'll go back to your life and ill go back to mine
You go back to your life and ill try and find mine

This can not be
A chance meeting
Our time is running out
This tree is creaking
Silence is the strongest thing you said to me
This tree is weeping
This cannot be

I , I wish you well
I know that great things will come your way
I will remember the day
And the tree by the lake
Life, this life goes on
Told ya I'd write this song for you
And I held my word true
Tough the roots of this tree will remain ,intertwined
You'll go back to your life and ill go back to mine

Balloons

Written By: Jonathan Harding

Broken down yet fixable
Left drowning in this pool
When hope is string tied to a Balloon
That’s floating in the atmosphere
You’ve scraped so hard
You scraped right through
This barrel’s split in two
When hope is the last coin in the last jar

You got to hold on to it
You got to hold on
