JONES FRANCK: Singer, Songwriter and Acoustic Guitarist.

His real name: SAYINZOGA FURUGUTA Franck Jones, JONES FRANCK was born on February 10, 1978 in the eastern DRCongo especially in Goma.
Last born from a family of 8 children (4boys, 4girls), singers and musicians, Jones Franck is the only child from Mama Alphonsine M’Karhana and Joseph Naninja Furuguta their parents, who decided to make from his musical passion a profession for the rest of his life.

Singer and songwriter since he was too young, JONES FRANCK became the College Star at the age of 14. (Collège Mwanga, Goma : RDC) because of his acoustic song « Tu souris et puis tu pars » inspired from his brother and artistic Director : Jo Hubert Furuguta.

In his music career, JONES FRANCK, has founded and participate in several foundations of some bands such as: ADONIS STARS (1992), SKY (1996) Tortue Café Band (2001), TOLERANCE MUSICA (2002), then cultural mix (2010).

Good friend to youth, brave initiator and educator, he founded in 2002 his first organization and called it TOLERANCE. Through this, Jones Franck initiated many national and regional projects in promoting and maintaining peace in the great lakes region, unity, reconciliation, Sexual reproductive health, HIV/AIDS prevention, etc.

In 2006, coming from a tour in East-African countries, he decided to bring together a big number of youth to beneficiate from his experience, then founded his second organization with the same objective but built on a bright vision for the future and called it : ANGELS OF THE LIGHT GENERATION.

In 2009, after having an important group of responsible youth to help his realizing his dream for the well being of his organization JONES FRANCK decided to launch his solo career then started working in collaboration with several organizations in times of messages promotion and sensitization on several project in the great lakes region.
In November 2009, Jones Franck, took the initiative of launching officially his solo career and released two new audio track with videos to show up to his fans : Dance with me (zouk style) and Bonana ; a mix of afro beat, rumba and Coupé Décalé which got promoted for a very long period on Rwanda television. This gave a proper opportunity to the artist to find his place in the new Rwandan music industry. (2009) since then, the Zouk song “Dance with me” continuous playing several times on RTV and give to fans a new reference of the zouk music in Rwanda.

Seeing the impact of this track on the market by starting playing in several VIP events, surprise parties, wedding ceremonies and others, Jones Franck got inspired for his new album then started working on it. (December 2009).

JONES FRANCK has also participated in many cultural events on national and international level. As guest artist and technical director of a Peace Caravan in Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Burundi and D.R.Congo.

In Kigali city, JONES FRANCK worked as entertainer in piano bars and restaurants such as:
Chez Robert 2009-2010, Cadillac Mama Africa restaurant 2010 and hôtels : Lemigo Hotel 2010, Laïco Umubano 2010, etc.

In september 2010, JONES FRANCK signed a contract to work as the Directing Manager of a Media Company called HOPE STREET STUDIOS Ltd where he progressively increased his knowledge in Audio production.

Member of the Rwandan society of authors (RSAU), JONES FRANCK works also as the Financing and Administrative Director of Ingoma Music Association (IMA).

In 2010, after a long period of moral and physic preparation, Jones Franck, starts working on the project of his Album that he called: « Zouk Cocktail », which this proposal was written for, to facilitate mobilizing collaborations from interested partners.

In his career Jones Franck worked with some institutions for special projects where he was engaged to write song and produce music for his partners.
He worked with the Bible Society for their Good Samaritan program and wrote a movie song for the institution. He also worked with DED/ZFD in the peace caravan project and wrote many songs to sensitize on peace building in the great lakes region, etc.

A great Album of 14 tracks and 1 interlude, ZOUK COCKTAIL, with variety of types of zouk music, full of inspiration, great educational material with moral messages for youth. Zouk Cocktail was not only written and sank by Jones Franck, but also produced by himself.

After “twirinde Sida” their first album with his group Tolerance Musica, « ZOUK COCKTAIL » comes to open doors to a solo career for JONES FRANCK named « Prince Héritier du Zouk Africain » by his lovers.
